The MacBook detects the external display and gives me options to manage but the actual display stays black, it seems like the monitor also detects the signal but there is no images displayed. I'm running macOS 11.4. Make sure that the hub is powered correctly in both locations, and at home disconnect everything from the hub but the HDMI monitor

It is a shame that the charging cable supplied by Apple with the MacBook is not capable of handling data transfer. HP Monitor's power supply is not capable of charging the MacBook Pro.

Oct 9, 2022 · I also heard about a temporary fix that if you plug in the HDMI cable and have the audio output set to the TV/monitor, then restart your Mac (with the cable still plugged in) and when it reboots the sound should play without stuttering. No luck. But still when I connect the MacBook Pro the laptop see the tv but the TV show No Signale. It was working fine for so long with the same tv with no issue.
